We designed and fabricated pool side sculptural wall.
Sculptural Wall is 6.1m wide, 2.6m high, 0.3m deep and only 2cm thick.
It is made of White Ultra high Performance Fiber-Reinforced Thin-Shell Concrete Panels mounted on Steel Frame.

Wave Wall is a part of on-going research by Synthesis into the use of flexible form-work, celebrates the self-organization of material under force. The form emerges through the interaction of the elastic fabric form-work and the liquid slurry of concrete. The designer has control over the locations of the constraints on the fabric which inform the overall form of each panel, but the specific curvature is determined solely by the system finding a state of equilibrium between mass and elasticity.
Rhino with Grasshopper is used for design and computer simulation.

Wave Wall is never the same, it has calm appearance during cloudy indirect illumination and it changes dramatically as the sun and shadows starts to travel and plays with its relief. During the night, illumination plays vital role.
